FAQs
What is professional organizing, and how does it work?
1.
Professional organizing involves decluttering items that no longer serve a purpose in your space, categorizing what's left so it's easy to find and access, and setting up systems that keep everything functional and easy to maintain. The result is a space that's not just tidy, but easier to live in day to day.
How is your approach different from standard organizing services?
2.
I bring my interior design background into every project, looking at the big picture to blend aesthetics with functionality; and, just as importantly, I understand that parting with belongings can be a big step, so I always work at your pace, with patience and complete confidentiality.
Is everything confidential?
3.
Absolutely. Organizing often means seeing personal spaces and items, and I treat every project with discretion and respect.
Should I clean up or organize my space before our first session?
4.
Please don't! Seeing your space in its natural state helps me understand your everyday routine and where the current system isn't working. There's zero judgment, my job is simply to help build a functional solution.
Do I need to be present during the session?
5.
For your first session, yes please! Being there helps me learn what you want to keep and how you actually use the space, so everything ends up where it makes sense. After that, I can work independently, you're welcome to relax or carry on with your day.
Returning for maintenance? No need to be present at all.
Do you provide storage bins, labels, or other organizing products?
6.
I can suggest bins, labels, and products that fit your style and budget, or I'm happy to work with what you already have.
Are you insured?
7.
Yes, I carry general liability and professional insurance, giving you extra peace of mind while I'm in your space.
How do I get started?
8.
Book a free consultation through the site or reach out by phone/email. I'll talk through your space, goals, and which session type fits best.
